Welcome to Weera Thai Restaurant in Las Vegas, where our family’s journey from the kitchens of Thailand to the heart of Las Vegas brings the authentic flavors of our heritage to your table. Our roots run deep in Isaan, the culturally rich Northeastern region of Thailand. Growing up, our family shared a love of cooking, with many joyful hours spent crafting traditional dishes together. This passion led our father, Suweera Thonguthaisiri, and mother, Sutsawat Promkul, to open our first restaurant in Chiang Mai over 40 years ago. Known as Weera Larb Ped, it quickly became beloved for our signature “Larb Duck” (a flavorful blend of ground duck with herbs, lime, and chili) and offered Chiang Mai a taste of true Isaan cooking.
In 2010, our family ventured to Las Vegas to bring the flavors we love to a new audience. Led by Peter Thonguthaisiri and his father, Weera Thai was born—a place where the vibrant, authentic taste of Thailand is celebrated daily. Our locations across Las Vegas, including Sahara Ave, Chinatown, Rainbow Blvd, and Town Square, Weera Thai has become a favorite destination for those seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience.
